North Down Museum packs a lot into a small space, telling the history of the area from the Bronze Age to the present day.

You can find us at the rear of the Town Hall, Bangor Castle, situated within the laundry and stables of the Castle, built for the Hon. Robert Edward Ward in 1852.


Opening Times

Tuesday - Saturday     10.00am - 4.30pm
Sunday                         12 noon - 4.30pm

The Museum is also open 10.00am - 4.30pm on Bank Holiday Mondays and Mondays in July and August

The Museum is accessible for disabled visitors.
