A small and secluded woodland nature reserve, along the banks of the River Lagan.
Edenderry lies along the Lagan River, leading into Belfast. This small nature reserve is comprised of a woodland and wet woodland quite close to each other. Several specimen trees can be found in the woodland – including beech, horse chestnut, oak and yew. Rare insects that have been recorded in the wet woodland include Rawlins’ false flatback millipede.
